SimHogger controllers are specialized, purpose-built railroad simulation controls. Please review the computer, compatibility, space, and pre-order information below before reserving a production position.
01 / System requirements
What you will need.
Windows 11 PC
A computer running Windows 11 is required for the supported SimHogger software and simulator connections.
Available USB connection
A micro-USB-to-USB cable is supplied. Your computer must have an available compatible USB port.
Supported simulator
You must provide and install the railroad simulator you intend to use. Compatibility varies by simulator and controller configuration.
- Internet access is recommended for downloading software, documentation, and updates.
- You should be able to install Windows software, connect USB equipment, and adjust simulator settings.
- Mac, Linux, console, and Steam Deck support should not be assumed unless specifically stated in the product listing.
02 / Compatibility
Confirm your simulator first.
Support differs between simulators and may also depend on the selected throttle, brake valve, and output configuration. Features available in one simulator may not be available in another.
Review the current compatibility information on the SimHogger page before ordering. If your simulator or desired feature is not clearly listed as supported, contact WirelessBilly before reserving a production slot.
03 / Your setup
Plan for the hardware.
- Provide a stable desk, table, stand, or mounting surface.
- Allow enough clearance for the full movement of every handle and lever.
- Check the product listing for model-specific dimensions and power requirements.
- A computer, simulator software, displays, sound equipment, furniture, and mounting hardware are not included unless the listing specifically says otherwise.
04 / Built to order
Expect small variations.
SimHogger controllers are produced in limited runs using a combination of fabricated, 3D-printed, electronic, and commercially sourced components. Minor cosmetic differences may occur between builds and do not affect normal operation.
Product availability, configuration options, and current pricing are always listed in the shop.
05 / Preorder process
How your build moves into production.
- Reserve an available production position.
- WirelessBilly contacts you as your build approaches production.
- Confirm the controller style, brake valve, simulator, and available options.
- Review the final configuration, balance, shipping cost, and estimated schedule.
- Production begins after the configuration and order are finalized.
Estimated production dates are planning targets rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Component availability, customization, testing, and the active production queue may affect timing.
